1. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
Depending on how you interact with OpsHub, you may provide:
- your name, business email address, phone number, company name, role, and location;
- scheduling preferences and appointment information;
- a brief description of an operating problem or reason for contacting us;
- correspondence and information you send by email or another approved communication channel;
- service-agreement and business-contact information; and
- operational, financial, workflow, staffing, system, or other business information provided during an agreed consulting engagement.
Do not submit customer records, patient information, payment-card details, account credentials, sensitive personal information, or regulated data through a booking note or general inquiry channel.
If detailed business records become relevant to an engagement, OpsHub will first agree what information is necessary and how it should be shared.
Information collected through the website
When you visit the website, OpsHub and its service providers may receive technical and usage information such as:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser and device type;
- operating system;
- referring and exit pages;
- pages viewed and interactions with site features;
- date, time, and general request information;
- security, diagnostic, and server-log information; and
- cookie, consent, or similar identifiers and preferences.
The exact information available depends on the production hosting, security, consent, analytics, advertising, and booking tools active when you visit and on the choices available to you.
Information received from service providers
OpsHub may receive scheduling, consent, analytics, advertising-attribution, communications, security, or service-administration information from providers used to operate the website and respond to requests.
We do not intend to receive sensitive operating records through analytics or advertising tools.
2. Cookies, analytics, advertising, and consent choices
The website may use cookies, local storage, tags, pixels, or similar technologies for purposes such as:
- operating essential site and security functions;
- remembering privacy choices;
- understanding website use and performance;
- measuring booking and other conversion actions; and
- measuring or supporting advertising where permitted.
OpsHub uses GoAdopt to present privacy choices and manage the consent experience. Google tools may be used for analytics, advertising measurement, and related purposes when the production configuration and your applicable choices permit them.
You can use the site's Control Your Privacy interface to review or change the available choices. Rejecting optional technologies should not prevent access to the site's first-party informational content or the direct external booking fallback.
Some technologies may be required for security, network delivery, consent records, or another essential function and may not be controlled in the same way as optional analytics or advertising technologies.
The final cookie categories, provider list, storage periods, and choice behavior must match the production implementation and the Cookie Policy or privacy interface available when this Policy is published.
3. How we use information
OpsHub may use information to:
- provide, operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website;
- display and remember privacy choices;
- respond to inquiries and assess whether an operating need is within OpsHub's scope;
- schedule, confirm, manage, or follow up on discovery conversations;
- prepare for and deliver services under an agreed engagement;
- communicate about an inquiry, engagement, service, or important policy change;
- maintain business, accounting, legal, and compliance records;
- prevent misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, or security incidents;
- understand website performance and visitor interaction where permitted;
- measure advertising and conversion activity where permitted; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
OpsHub does not use a short booking description as a substitute for an operating diagnostic. Do not include detailed confidential records in a booking note.
4. Legal bases where applicable
Depending on the law and the activity involved, OpsHub may process personal information based on:
- your consent;
- steps requested before entering an agreement;
- performance of an agreement;
- compliance with a legal obligation; or
- a legitimate business interest that is not overridden by applicable individual rights.
Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent through the available privacy controls or by contacting OpsHub. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed lawfully.
5. How information may be disclosed
OpsHub may disclose information to service providers and other parties when reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Categories may include:
- website hosting, infrastructure, security, and technical-support providers;
- Zoho for scheduling and related booking functions;
- GoAdopt for consent and privacy-choice management;
- Google for analytics, advertising, and conversion measurement where permitted;
- business email, communications, document, and collaboration providers;
- accounting, legal, insurance, and other professional advisers;
- contractors supporting an approved business function under appropriate obligations;
- authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security; and
- a successor or relevant party in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business.
Service providers may process information under their own terms and privacy notices as well as their obligations to OpsHub.
OpsHub does not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define certain advertising or cross-context data disclosures as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, the site's privacy controls will provide the relevant choice.
6. Client and engagement information
Information provided during a consulting engagement is used to evaluate and deliver the agreed work, communicate with authorized participants, prepare agreed outputs, maintain records, and meet contractual or legal obligations.
The signed service agreement may contain additional terms about confidentiality, permitted use, access, retention, security, ownership, and deletion. If that agreement conflicts with this general website Policy for engagement information, the agreement controls to the extent stated in it and permitted by law.
OpsHub will not publish client-identifying content, testimonials, or case evidence merely because information was provided during an engagement. Any public use must pass the applicable source, permission, anonymization, wording, and legal checks.
Any use of aggregated or de-identified engagement information must be permitted by the applicable agreement and law and must not be represented as a client result without the required approval.
7. International processing
Some service providers may process information in locations outside your state, province, or country. Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from those where you live.
Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or other safeguard, OpsHub will rely on the mechanism or safeguard appropriate to the provider and processing activity. Specific transfer claims should not be inferred unless they are confirmed for the service involved.
8. Retention
OpsHub retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable legal, accounting, security, dispute, and recordkeeping needs.
Retention depends on the type of information and context. For example:
- inquiry and booking information may be retained long enough to respond, manage the relationship, and maintain appropriate business records;
- engagement information may be retained as stated in the signed service agreement and applicable recordkeeping requirements;
- consent records may be retained to remember and demonstrate privacy choices;
- website, security, and diagnostic logs may be retained according to the production provider and security configuration; and
- analytics and advertising information may be retained according to the configured settings of the applicable provider.
The production retention schedule must be confirmed before publication. OpsHub may retain information longer when required by law, needed to establish or defend legal rights, or preserved under a valid legal hold.
9. Security
OpsHub uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
The measures used depend on the information, the service, the approved access model, and the providers involved. No website, transmission, provider, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Do not use an unapproved channel to send sensitive or regulated information. If you believe information connected with OpsHub has been accessed or disclosed improperly, contact us promptly.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, the law may give you rights to:
- confirm whether personal information is being processed;
- access personal information;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion, subject to exceptions;
- obtain a portable copy of certain information;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent;
- opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or profiling activities; and
- appeal a decision about a privacy request where applicable.
To make a request, contact OpsHub using the details below and describe the right you want to exercise. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. We may also need to retain certain information or decline part of a request where permitted or required by law.
You may use the site's privacy controls to manage available cookie, analytics, and advertising choices without submitting an email request.
If the law where you live permits a complaint to a regulator or supervisory authority, you may contact the appropriate authority directly.
11. Children
The website and services are intended for business owners and business professionals and are not directed to children under 18.
OpsHub does not knowingly request personal information from children through the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so the situation can be reviewed and addressed as required.
12. Third-party services and links
The website may link to or load services operated by other organizations, including the booking provider and Balaji Sampathkumar's personal website.
Those organizations control their own websites and services and may provide separate privacy notices. OpsHub is not responsible for the privacy practices of a third party merely because the website links to or integrates with it.
13. Changes to this Policy
OpsHub may update this Policy when the website, services, providers, law, or data practices change.
The effective date will be updated when a revised Policy is published. If a change is material and applicable law requires another form of notice or consent, OpsHub will provide it through an appropriate channel.
